Joanne Scott Massey Biography
Joanne Scott Massey has
had her artwork accepted in numerous regional exhibitions. Her paintings are
enjoyed nationally and in Europe in public and private collections. Joanne
enjoys working in watercolor, acrylic and oils. Her inspiration comes from the
photos she takes of many different subjects wherever she finds beauty. Joanne
can be commissioned to paint a wide array of subjects from photos or ideas.
Joanne is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana. She earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in the Fine Arts in 1984. She is a member of the
Arts Council of S.W. Indiana and has been an active planning committee member in
organizing juried exhibitions. She is a member of the Ohio Valley Art League.
She is also a member of the Kentucky Watercolor Society.
Joanne is a member of Solarbron Retirement Community’s acquisition
committee, which entails choosing and purchasing artwork for their extensive
private collection. Also, she is a member of their planning committee which
organizes juried exhibitions.
