Another vanishing subject in my area of southern Indiana is the old  tobacco barns.  Tobacco was often a supplement to the small independent  farmer and these old sheds were custom built just for the particular use of seasoning the crop.  The beauty is in the old weatherbeaten wood on these barns and metal roofs and patch-ups.
