It was a hot, humid summer morning, even the gnats and mosquitoes didn't have the energy to be pesky. Slowly I crept, trying not to make a sound,  knowing all too well that even though the tiger sleeps he is always alert and easily awakened,  and even the click of my camera would startle him. I must have come as close as 25 feet from the beast,  my mouth was dry, I held my breath as to not make a sound,,,,then suddenly,  from behind me, I jumped to the loud booming sound of the zoo keepers voice,,,"hold on a minute, I'll wake him for feeding time and you can get an action shot."
